Expedition Notes
It is recommended that before the expedition every member trains in swimming for at least one month in advance, to ensure an adequate level of physical fitness in the water. There will be opportunities for snorkelling and swimming every day for those who wish.
A minimum of one complete leg is required.
Any member of the expedition is welcome to participate on both legs

Itinerary
The day-to-day itinerary may change according to weather and whale sightings
Vessel
The vessel for this expedition will be a 47’ sailing catamaran with 4 double cabins.
Each cabin has its own toilet and shower. Each cabin holds 2 persons.
The catamaran has a water-maker to ensure an ample supply of fresh water.
Meals
All meals will be prepared on board with the exception of the last evening of each leg when we will eat in a restaurant on-shore. All food on-board will be prepared using fresh produce wherever possible; mangos, papayas and fresh vegetables. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.
Equipment
Each member of the expedition will need to bring their own wet-suit, mask, snorkel and fins. You will also be required to bring your own foul-weather gear and a suitable pair of deck shoes, hat, sunglasses, sun-screen, swimming costume and towel. Please bear in mind that the boat has limited storage space. Ideally please bring a soft case which can be easily stored. There will be laundry facilities in the marinas of Puerto Escondido and La Paz.
Transport
Transport to and from the expedition is not included. Each member of the expedition is responsible for purchasing their own return flight to La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
Booking
Cost per leg per person : $3,500 USD (single cabin occupancy $7,000)
A $1000 USD deposit is required to secure a place on the expedition.
Second payment due 8 weeks before the start of the expedition.
Insurance
It is recommended that each member of the expedition obtains their own personal insurance for the duration of the expedition.
